Hollywood Production Company Turns to Seattle-based Marketing Firm
Los Angeles, CA - 3dB Creative recently provided the corporate logo for Masterson Entertainment LLC, a new feature film production company headed by producer and actress, Chase Masterson.
3db Creative worked closely with Masterson to create a logo the evoked the core values of the production company. The goal was to deliver a design that represented power, redemption, renewal and life. After several initial drafts, the image of the acacia tree was chosen to tie all these concepts together. The final logo, as created by 3dB designers Kevin Lema and R.J. LaCount, was delivered in two formats, photograph and vector. An original photograph by Lema was utilized as the base image.
Chase Masterson began her career as an actress, working in theatre, film and television, developing a world-wide following. She has now made the jump to producing being named "Best Producer" by the LA Femme Film Festival for her work on the film noir "Yesterday Was a Lie." The film, which will be released theatrically in late 2009, was named one of the "Top 10 Films" on the Festival Circuit by Film Threat and has won 12 Best Feature Awards, in addition to Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Cinematography.
Prior to "Yesterday Was a Lie," Chase was Co-Executive Producer on "Through Your Eyes," a documentary about deaf-blind triplets Sophie, Emma, and Zoe Tucker, which was featured twice on the "Dr. Phil" television show. Chase also served as associate producer on "LA Actors," starring Golden Globe and three-time Emmy winner Tony Shalhoub as a homeless man.
Now with the formal launch of her new production company, Masterson Entertainment, Chase continues her focus on films of social relevance and importance that reach out powerfully to mainstream audiences. The company is positioned to partner with A-list talent for its premiere film, "The Camel Bookmobile," a gripping story set in Kenya based on the critically acclaimed Harper Collins novel by global journalist Masha Hamilton.
