Seattle Ad Agency Delivers Custom Site for New Amp Makers 

Seattle, WA - 3dB Creative has recently delivered a website for Seattle's newest guitar amp manufacturer, Jet City Amplification. Headed by three music industry veterans, Douglas White, Dan Gallagher and Mike Soldano, Jet City Amplification take a "No Bullsh*t" approach to both amp design and marketing. They say what they mean and deliver the best tone in the business at a great price.

The new website is another in 3dB's ProSite™ series. As such, the agency provides custom web design and coding to pro-audio industry clients within a fixed budget. Jet City's Douglas White commented, "We needed a website that represented our straight-ahead philosophy. It had to be efficient, easy to navigate and informative but with a style that looked both rebellious and fun - 3dB absolutely nailed it." 

With art direction and design from 3dB's Thanh Le and designer/developer Seth Whitton, as well as close direction from the client, the Jet City Amplification site was developed in XHTML utilizing the Wordpress authoring environment and CMS. Java Script was used in place of Flash to make the site fully iPhone compatible, a key requirement for this project.   

The initial series of Jet City amplifiers have been designed by renown custom amp maker, Mike Soldano. They avoid the use of gimmicks, goofy “DSP” or “marketing knobs” to complicate the process of getting to the pure all-tube guitar tone. With simple controls that actually work, cool cosmetics and outstanding prices, Jet City Amplifiers offer a superior alternative to the many “budget boutique” amps currently found on the market.
